I like any car over the F1, Maclaren is just too.... normal. I mean when I say Maclaren F1 everyone knows what it is and stuff, but this car is rare and exotic.

this car is awesome. I'm a little surprised that it's not faster. I'd like to see a little better acceleration in a car, but besides that, this is going on my top ten favorite cars list now. I agree with 2fast4u, the mclaren is too recognizable, exotic unheard of cars are much cooler. Even Ferraris and Porsches are getter too familiar. Bugattis rock all.

Sorry guys I can't believe a car with 410 bhp can run 340 km/h. Even with a aerodynamicly optimized and lowered chassis like this, the air pressure on the front should get too high at 300 or 310. It seems to me that the statistics relate to the engine-version with about 600 bhp. Couldn't that be possible?

Eh, that Merecedes engine is too damn heavy, and so is the body. Stick to aluminum. This might have been the McLaren's inspiration.

400hp and 212 is very possible, Back in 87 the F40 went 201mph with 478hp and 5 speeds and weighed a little more than this. If this car has the right gearing it is definetly possible
I may be late, but I'm always on time.

400 hp is not the end.... If you buy this car, it's made only for YOU! you can get it with as much power as you want, up to 850 hp. The Mercedes-Engine is strong enough for much higher torques.. jt

I really agree.. I mean if you have enough cheese to spend on this, why dont you add a bit more and buy a McLaren.. Better buy the McLaren than this...

I don't think so. Horsepower to weight ratio is paramount, and this thing as advertised here checks in at 7.997 lb/hp. Let's compare to some well known cars with well documented, reliable performance figures:
1997 Corvette C5 9.36 lb/hp 172 mph
1996 911 Turbo 8.73 lb/hp 180 mph
1997 550 Maranello 7.68 lb/hp 194 mph
1991 Diablo 7.36 lb/hp 202 mph
1995 McLaren F1 3.98 lb/hp 241 mph
Looking at these figures, it would seem that the Isdera would come in somewhere around 185 mph. You can't pass off jumping from 185 to 212 (27 mph) on magical gearing. Magical gearing doesn't exist. Gearing is gearing, and the Isdera doesn't have an advantage over the cars listed above in that respect. If you still insist that magical gearing exists, why don't the cars listed above use it? Oh they do? Then where's the advantage that the Isdera has....... Aerodynamics? You can't pass off 27 mph on that either, seeing as once you pass 150 mph, no matter what kind of drag coefficient you've got, the wind resistance is huge and you need horsepower to push the car faster through the air. (as I noted, lb/hp is paramount.)
In the words of Public Enemy, don't believe the hype!

It's very impressive. But for me, the Italdesign Nazca M12 concept Is more amazing, since it gets 326 km/h with 300 hp. . .

Apparently SuperSonic 'drove' this car in need for speed. What he really drove was a reprentation of a car made of a polygon mesh, coded to move around a tv screen with whichever button he pressed on the playstaion controller...thats some real 'driving' for ya.
just kidding, i liked that game too but dont say you 'drove' it, i mean sure the performance is moddled after the real thing but its still a million miles away from actualy sitting in one of these babies
