Hah. The TVR is a cool car, but first of all, you compared the best version of the TVR available to the base line Diablo. Second of all, (and more improtantly), see here:
Diablo 6.0=
=550 hp (less hp than TVR Speed 12 by 250 hp)
0-60 mph = 3.4 seconds, Motor Trend tested (faster than TVR Speed 12)
top speed=225 mph w/ optional 5th gear ratio, tested at Nardo. Not far behind TVR Speed 12.
And the Diablo 6.0 murdalizes every other version of the TVR.
And if you don't like the Styling of the Diablo, then fine be that way. Everyone else does.

God this is funny!
To that retard who said Brit cars have poor reliability is just living in the past cause all Brit cars are of good build quality.
And the Diablo good looking?.......which car are you loooking at, it looks as is you designers were given some power tools and let loose on a giant square lemon!!
And that prick who said that TVRs are just plain rip offs of Vipers is just talking out of his arse, why would TVR want to replicate a car which sold 2 cars in the UK last year, the Viper gets ripped in all Euro road tests and just doesn't sell cause it is destroyed alongside Euro competition.
And to that point about TVR bein' sold abroad........if u actually knew something about cars then you would know that TVR is one of the last small independant manufactures operating out of England and so it aims solely at the UK market as the US laws are very strict on engines and safety equipment as the TVR Tuscan has no ABS braking or power steering.......and trust me the people who have seen the Tuscan in the flesh in America are falling over backwards to get hold of them(due to the film Swordfish) and at only £40000 in the standard form it rips the Viper to pieces.
And did someone say the TVR Tuscan was ugly?...............have u ever seen it in real life on the streets?............no so how can u say it's ugly, they did a survey on it and out of all the cars on sale today it turned the most heads in the streets and it even beat the Porsche 911 Turbo and Ferrari 360 Modena in a overall road test.
So before u start saying the TVR Tuscan is just a rip off of a Viper get your facts right cause the Viper sucks big time!

TVR Tuscan: 4.4 secs......£40000
TVR Tuscan S: 3.9 secs......£48000
TVR Tuscan R: 3.5 secs......£70000
To that person who said there isn't a car at the moment from Britain that compares with the Diablo, well if a £48000 car holds it's own against it then there's a problem and that's not even mentioning the "R" version

hey brit cars rule, i am a bug fan of TVR and by the way i would change ur logo, the TVR cebera Speed 12 is the fastest, by far, any way the Diablo is an awesome car and needs explaining no mire, i love the TVR it is without a doubt my second favoutite car but the Murc i think is just a bit better, sorry, remember this is my opinion, u have a good opinion and i respect that, i just think that the diablo has something that british cars dont, sorry lol

Yeah, the Tuscan is fast. Not as fast as a Diablo. It is in the same range as the Modena and the Turbo, as you said.
Stock DIablo 6.0 performances (tested by Motor Trend):
0-60 mph time : 3.4 second average
1/4 mile time :11.8 seconds
Top speed: 225 mph w/ optional 5th gear ratio.
Do you understand now? The Diablo rules. If you don't like how it looks, then you have yet to see it in person.

How come so many people get wet over these?
For one they look like a box so no sexy curves and two, where's the storming perfomance?
The McLaren F1 is the greatest ever supercar and always will be and SH*T heaps like this will never even approach it!
Even a TVR Tuscan S at less than £50 000 will deliver the same 0-60mph time whilst also looking a damn site better.
Wake up and get back to the real world Diablo, you are nothing compared to the Brit supercars!

i like brit cars, but i also like italian cars, and on the performane side i would go with the italian cars, on the looks side however, i would still go with the italian cars, british cars are my second favourite cars, sorry dude, oh and i was born in london, so i am not a hypocritical foregiener!!!!!!!!!!

Brit your opinion is noted but I have to disagree. The TVR is a blatant ripoff of the Viper. There is no current production car imo that even comes close to the Diablo out of England. Mind you that many British cars were the laughing stock of the automotive world for their superb electronics and various other failures. Not that other cars didnt have their share of problems but damn Brit cars sucked! They have come a long way and have improved but nothing to compare it to the true supercar that the Diablo is. Lotus is awesome and close but still no cigar 
BTW, if the TVR is such a great car why isnt it sold abroad? maybe cause we already have the Viper and the TVR is butt ugly to boot!

The Tuscan R will be faster than the Diablo, better(if stranger) looking, and wayyyyyyyyy cheaper........as TVR like to say "more bangs for your bucks!"
And I have seen a Diablo in the streets and really it doesn't look that special and the paint job does nothing for it.........two tone flip paint(TVR) is where the action is!

i think that, TVR r really cool, especially the Speed 12, and i also love the Mclaren f1 GT it is really cool, but i also love lambo, they r king, they r the ultimate, i think that lambo r alot better!!!!!!!!!!

To be honest, I think you either lie like a very cheap rug (ie. badly) or aint a real car enthusiast when you say a Diablo is nt impressive. If you were a real petrol-head, a real octane-junky, then you would find this vehicle awe-inspiring, and in need of great respect.
Yeah TVR's are fast and relatively cheap. Shame that cost-cutting goes into the build quality. And dont lie because they do still have problems with fit and finish, and you know it.
One thing the TVR lacks, is something called image. Now image is a very vain thing to talk about, but in terms of something like a Diablo, image rules. The Diablo is quick, we all know it is. The fact is it also a great status symbol of wealth.
Basically you are trying to compare apples and oranges, and it dont work like that.

Compared to cars like the McLaren F1 and Jag XJ220 I don't find it that impressive.........and u are just joking when u say TVR still has build quality problems cause that is just bollocks.....they have no build quality issues anymore.....and image?......u say TVR lacks it?....where r u from?..the US-well that's cause they're not sold there but if your from the UK then u must have been living under a stone for the past 4 years....the Tuscan has breathed new life into TVR and people actually stop and glare when a TVR Tuscan rumbles past......and I'd rather take a Tuscan S which has the same performance as a Diablo, better looks but not as much image rather that having a Diablo that costs 3 times as much as the Tuscan.......so I'll take my Tuscan and pocket the £100 000 change.......better still...why not take the up and coming Tuscan R at £70 000 which will out-perform in staight line and top speed......so I'll see u at the lights and the say bye!!!!!!

I just find it so amusing this Brit Cars guy has the nerve to call a Lamborghini Diablo a "SH*T HEAP".
I would put good money on the possibilty that this jumped up prick has never been in a Diablo, let alone driven one. I may of course be wrong, but from what I've seen this kid talks out of his backside anyway.
McLaren F1, yeah it goes fast. Seen as though you like predicting about how new cars will beat others, I'm hell sure the Buggati Veyron W16 with just under 1000BHP, will quite easily beat the F1.
The F1, got no soul either. I'll take a Dodge Charger or Challenger R/T over a McLaren F1.

No I'm not blind. You can like the styling of the XJ220, that's fine; I didn't say it looks like "$h! heap" like you called the Diablo, so I don't know what your problem is. I said I personally I don't like the styling of the XJ220, and you to have to respect that. I don't have to respect you calling the Diablo a "$h! heap," though.
And the Mclaren F1 is known for its speed, not its handeling. It has 0.86 G compared to 0.99 g for the Diablo 6.0, and 1 whole g for the Diablo GT. The LM and GTR versions of a Mclaren F1 do improve on the handeling significantly. But the stock, road legal Diablo has better handeling than the stock, road going Mclaren F1.

hey brit cars rule, i like the TVR and the Mclaren, and i alos like the Murc GTR, if u look at my new id u will see, anyway, i still think that the new Murc GTR will undoubtly beat the Mclaren F1 GT and the TVR Cebera Speed 12, and i did not say i thibk they were better, i juist said that i liked them, i will always be a lambo fan, as well as a Mclaren, TVR, and Ferrari fan, they r all awe inspiring machines which give hypercars a whole new meaning!!!!!!!!!! lol

There are many cars out there, that could totally smoke one of these lambos. Here are the stats for a BRITISH car, that fits this criteria:
Weight: 1000 kg / 2205 lbs
Power: 596.6 kw / 800.0 bhp @ 7250 rpm
Torque: 881.3 nm / 650 ft lbs @ 5750 rpm
Top speed: 240.0 mph / 386.2 kph
0-60mph: 3.5 seconds
