Like Jensen, Bizzarini, de Tomaso, and Intermeccanica, the Monteverdi High Speed 375 combined European elegance with an American heart. Specifically, it used the talents of F1 racing driver and manufacturer Peter Monteverdi with reliable power from Chrysler's big-block V8.

22-year old Peter Monteverdi took over the Swiss repair shop of his father in 1956. As an F1 racing driver and manufacturer, he became acquainted with Enzo Ferrari, and was awarded a franchise, but he aspired to build a luxury car under his own name.

The HAI 650 is a supercar based off team Monteverdi-Onyx's 1990 Formula One Car. We don't know how many of these were created, but we imagine they must be some of the most radical machines in Switzerland.
