At the 1000kms of SPA Reiter Engineering debuted their Gallardo LP560 race car which has been in development before the street car's launch at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show. Having also created the Murciélago R-GT for GT1, Reiter Engineering are no newcomers to Lamborghini development. Likely the LP560 will be produced for other series run by FIAGT, ALMS and ADAC.

To reflect their Lamborghinis fielded in FIA GT1, Reiter are offering a road-going version. Called the 'Streetversion', it has an updated body, suspension, interior and exhaust.
