The GT2 Corvette comes completely assembled, aligned, leak checked, and ready to shake down from Riley Technologies. The customer supplies the driver comfort systems and radio. An engineer and assembly technician from Riley Technologies will attend the first test.

In 2008, Riley updated their Daytona Prototype chasis which had dominated Grand-Am racing since the car's inception. The Mk XX builds on these successful seasons which won from 2004 to 2007.

Walter Köng had envisaged this body initially for a Bentley Chassis. For pragmatic reasons, he instead used a Riley 2.5 chassis. Probably the most unique feature of the Köng special are the four clear roof cutouts made usuing sheets of 4mm Perspex. The occupants car be prtected from the sun by interior silk blinds.
