Topspeed is a great measure of a supercars' ability and SCC plan to prove their Aero can beat 250 mph. SSC has yet to verify the Ultimate Aero's performance, but they say that the car should be possible of of 260 to 273 mph.

A collaboration with Multimatic and Ford Racing has resulted in a new Daytona Prototype scheduled to run in the 2003 Grand-Am season. Multimatic is a Canadian-based company that has large ties to Ford Racing, including a rich racing history including Mustangs.

The Can-Am is the lastest offering from UK's self-assembly supercar manufacturer. Ultima sells the car for self assembly in pieces or as a complete road legal auto. While this new Can-Am resembles much of the GTR, only the front nose and side panels can be transferred directly from one car to another.
