Founded in 1912 by Giovanni Bertone, Bertone is the classic Italian car styling and coachbuilding company. The iconic Bertone styling cues are easy to spot across some of the most famous cars ever. Bertone has worked for every major car company over the years, penning designs for Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lancia, Lamborghini, Mercedes Benz as well as many more. Bavarian Motor Works (or BMW to you and I) is a German car and motorbike company founded in 1916. It is one of the most well known and respected car makers in the world. BMW also owns Mini cars and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. Most interesting to the Supercars.net reader is the fact that BMW has produced some of the most amazing sports cars in history, largely through its BMW M division. BRABUS is one of our favorite tuners ever. Started in 1977 in Germany, BRABUS was basically an all-Mercedes shop that built some of the most extreme machines around. Claiming lots of world records, the last was in 2012 when the V12 BRABUS Rocket 800 accelerated from 0 to 62 mph in 3.7 seconds, took just 23.8 seconds to 186 mph and had a top speed of 230 mph. Founded in 1909, Bugatti started out as a French car manufacturer of high-performance automobiles. Bugatti cars were known for their design beauty and for focusing on the very high end of the market. Famous Bugattis include the Type 35 Grand Prix cars, the Type 41 “Royale”, the Type 57 “Atlantic” and the Type 55 sports car. Volkswagen AG acquired the Bugatti brand in 1998 and began building the Bugatti Veyron, 1001 BHP supercar with an 8-litre W-16 engine with four turbochargers and a top speed of over 250 mph.
