Walter Köng had envisaged this body initially for a Bentley Chassis. For pragmatic reasons, he instead used a Riley 2.5 chassis. Probably the most unique feature of the Köng special are the four clear roof cutouts made usuing sheets of 4mm Perspex. The occupants car be prtected from the sun by interior silk blinds.

Walter Köng never did find a purchaser for his car which he used until his death. His car was honoured as part of the '100 years of Swiss coachwork' display at the 2005 Geneva Auto Salon.
