1960 Cadillac Eldorado Seville

Although Cadillac had achieved leadership status by 1960, it would begin making revisions to its own style and design. As a result, a greater emphasis was put on creating less flamboyant tail fins and chrome grilles, while more attention was given to precise detailing, clean lines and a smooth, sweeping body. Wheelbase and engine were carried over from the previous year, but further engineering enhancements were developed to make Cadillac an even more coveted automobile. Improvements were made to the self-adjusting brakes and automatic-releasing parking brake, while the electric door-locking mechanism was replaced by a powered vacuum system.

Aesthetically pleasing, Cadillac amazed buyers with a wide array of over 100 selections of interior trim combinations. With a total of thirteen Cadillacs issued in three series, and one limited production custom model, the Eldorado Biarritz convertible would swiftly ascend to the top of every customer’s wish list.

This Cadillac originates from California where it had been very well cared for over the years. It has an ice blue leather and cloth interior with a handsome matching ice blue exterior. The Seville textured vinyl top is white and appears to be in very good overall condition. The car is equipped with all the commensurate bells and whistles that define the Cadillac name, and as expected this example is complete with factory air conditioning and tri-power carburetion.
