1969 Jaguar E-Type Series II Roadster

In 1969 the E-Type was dramatically changed to Series II Specification which included US-regulated higher and uncovered headlights along with upgrades such as a larger air intake on the bonnet and better brakes.

The Series II marked the first major outward revisions of the car since its introduction in 1961. Along with the larger air intake and headlights, the rear featured larger lights below the bumper.

Federal cars destined for the US and Canadian markets received twin Stromberg carburetors.

Total production of Series II roadsters was 8,627 cars with just 775 made in right hand drive.2.
