Today McLaren are celebrating their 50th year by releasing the 50 MP4-12 in both coupe and spider form.
The special model has a completely redesigned front bumper and will be limited to just 50 coupes and 50 spiders.

Today the 24 Hours of Nürburgring also known as the 41. ADAC Zurich 24h-Rennen finished with the Black Falcon Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 of Bernd Schneider, Jeroen Bleekemolen, Sean Edwards & Nicki Thiim winning ahead of the chasing Porsches, Audis, BMWs and Astons. It was the first time a Mercedes-Benz has one the race outright.
This year was notable for relentless rain that delayed the race over nine hours. Eventually the 180 cars got back underway by 9am. Many hopes were on the sole Aston Martin GT3 which qualified second, but couldn't manage in the rain.

Today Aston Martin are releasing the CC100 Speedster Concept that celebrates both the centenary of Aston Martin and the Le Mans-winning DBR1 of 1959.
The new concept uses a carbon fiber tub manufactured by Multimatic which is powered by the 6.0-litre V12.

This year's edition of the race takes the classic route up and down Italy from Brescia to Rome to Brescia.

Last weekend's SPA 6-Hours was dominated by the factory Audi's which swept the podium with the overall win going to the #1 R18 of André Lotterer, Benoit Tréluyer and Marcel Fässler.

Today Porsche released details of their new 911 Turbo including the flagship 560 bhp Turbo S.
New to the Turbo is rear-wheel steering and a retractable front spoiler. It also features a longer chassis which is more reinforced compared to the standard Carrera.
It will be first shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September with deliveries following shortly thereafter.
