Combining a sleek,&nbsp;fastback roofline with four doors and seating for four,&nbsp;the Rapide defied traditional sedan design,&nbsp;blurring the lines between luxury and sportiness. Initially equipped with a 6.0L naturally-aspirated V12 engine producing 510 horsepower,&nbsp;later upgraded to 572 horsepower in 2013.&nbsp;This delivered thrilling acceleration and a distinctive,&nbsp;powerful sound. Several updates and special editions were created over the years. In 2013 we saw the Rapide S, a performance-oriented variant with increased power (600 horsepower),&nbsp;sharper handling,&nbsp;and more aggressive styling. In 2017 came the Rapide AMR, another limited-edition version with further increased power (630 horsepower),&nbsp;carbon fiber components,&nbsp;and exclusive interior finishes. In a significant departure from its traditional powertrains, Aston Martin announced the Rapide E, the brand&#8217;s first all-electric model, in 2019. The Rapide E was developed in collaboration with Williams Advanced Engineering and featured an electric powertrain with over 600 horsepower and a range of over 200 miles on a single charge.
