In addition Richard Attwood, David Piper, Bruce McLaren and Brian Redman were also on the grid, what a line-up!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Over the weekend of the 16<sup>th<\/sup> and 17<sup>th of\u00a0<\/sup> July, Motor Racing Legends will have Snetterton resonating once again to these great sounds as they bring a host of grids for historic GTs, Sports Cars, Touring Cars and even Pre-War Sports cars to Norfolk. Using the Snetterton 200 circuit, the weekend will see the cream of historic racing converge for a festival weekend of racing.<\/p>\n<p>MSV Motorsport Events Manager David Willey said: \u201cI\u2019m delighted that we\u2019ve been able to announce a new flag-ship historic event at Snetterton, in partnership with Motor Racing Legends. The MRL team possesses an enormous amount of passion and has a proven record for delivering successful historic meetings. We\u2019re looking forward to working together to cement the Snetterton Historic 200\u2019s place on the retro competition calendar, starting from this year\u2019s event for which a superb line-up has been compiled.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Motor Racing Legends will be running six grids at the Snetterton Historic 200, including the Amon Cup \u2013 the one-make series for Ford GT40s. Below is the full program of races:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Royal Automobile Club Woodcote Trophy and Stirling Moss Trophy &#8211; for pre-\u201956 and pre-\u201961 sports cars<\/li>\n<li>Historic Touring Car Challenge with Tony Dron Trophy \u2013 for \u201870s Group 1 and Group 2 cars and \u201880s group A cars<\/li>\n<li>Sixties Touring Car Challenge with U2TC for \u201860s Touring Cars under two-litres<\/li>\n<li>Motor Racing Legends Pre-War Sports-Cars<\/li>\n<li>Royal Automobile Club Pall Mall Cup \u2013 3-Hour race for Pre-\u201966 GTs and Touring cars and \u201850s Sports Cars<\/li>\n<li>Amon Cup for Ford GT40s<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Motor Racing Legends are also delighted that the meeting will be supported by three races from the Historic Racing Drivers Club who bring their fabulous Classic Alfa Challenge, Jack Sears Trophy and \u2018All Stars\u2019 grids to Snetterton.<\/p>\n<p>Duncan Wiltshire, Chairman of Motor Racing Legends said \u201cWe are so excited to be launching the Snetterton Historic 200 meeting with MSV.
