In anticipation on the run up to the 2014 24 Hours of Le Mans, Porsche celebrated their rich history by bringing to together some of their most successful race cars and drivers to one spot.<\/p>\n

As a result, the images bring together more evocative race liveries and racing talent than most events in the world.<\/p>\n

Front and center was the Porsche KG Salzburg-livered Porsche 917 Kurzheck which Richard Attwood and Hans Herrmann drove to Porsche’s first overall victory at Le Mans.<\/p>\n

We have assembled the best images from Hockenheimring on one page<\/a><\/p>\n

But Porsche has been kind enough to offer historic images of these cars in their best moments. We have also updated legendary race race such the Porsche 917 Kurzheck<\/a>, Porsche 917 Langheck<\/a>, Porsche 956<\/a>, Porsche 956B<\/a> and Porsche 962C<\/a> with epic photos.<\/p>\n
