This weekend Bonhams had their December sale and split up the famous Ecurie Ecosse collection of Mr Dick Skipworth.<\/p>\n

Mr Skipworth started his collection with the Jaguar D-Type which was run by the Scottish team and subsequently purchased many of the Ecurie Ecosse cars, all painted Flag Metallic Blue.<\/p>\n

All of the cars were privately owned and managed by Ecurie Ecosse and subsequently have tremendous racing history.<\/p>\n

Bomham’s sold the entire collection and fetched some top dollars. See our page for the complete results.<\/p>\n
