The heart of this complete spectrum of high-grade optical and technical parts is the supercharged CM55 K engine, which makes 480 bhp available to the driver of this thoroughbred cabriolet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In combination with the C-Tronic supplementary control unit, the supercharged CM55 K engine increases the output of the CLK 55 to a mighty 480 bhp \/ 353 kW and a maximum torque of 650 Nm at 2800 rpm. Top speed is limited for safety reasons to 270 km\/h. Acceleration from a standing start to 100 km\/h takes just 4.4 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Underscoring the exclusive and sporting look of the Carlsson CM55 K on the basis of the CLK 55 is an aerodynamic package consisting of a front skirt highly polished stainless steel grille and a rear skirt.<\/p>\n<p>A muscular and distinctive sound is generated by the stainless-steel Carlsson sports exhaust system with four metal catalysts and oval tailpipes with the Carlsson emblem in chrome. Also available is a stainless-steel rear sports silencer with oval twin or quadruple tailpipes.<\/p>\n<p>For the wheels, Carlsson decided on a set of the company&#8217;s exclusive 1\/16 wheels Brilliant Edition. The front wheels of the CLK Cabrio are fitted with tyres of dimensions 8.5 x 19&#8242; 235\/35.
