1923 Ballot 2 LTS<\/h2>\n

In 1923 Ballot updated their sports car with larger valves and renamed the car to the 2 Litres Sport ot 2 LTS. The car was loosely based off the 2-litre racing car which Ballot fielded at the 1921 French Grand Prix.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Ballot featured a twin-overhead-camhaft design with a three main bearing crankshaft.<\/p>\n

In 1926 the LTS was replaced by a six-cylinder alternative.<\/p>\n

1927 BALLOT 2 LTS CABRIOLET FIGONI<\/a> – sold for \u20ac61,951<\/b><\/p>\n

On moving to France, Andr\u00e9 Surmain brought the Delages and the Ballot with him. However, he didn’t begin the restoration until the start of the 1980s. The Weimann imitation leather and the wooden parts of the body were re-furbished, along with the interior upholstery, the hood, the rear trunk and the chrome. The car was also mechanically overhauled. Following the restoration, Andr\u00e9 Surmain took part in numerous rallies and concours d’\u00e9l\u00e9gance events, including the Historic Mille Miglia. He owns an important collection of vintage cars with a particular interest in the Delage D8S. He was responsible for saving and restoring this 1927 Ballot 2 LTS which is offered today in very good working order and presentation. It is immediately eligible for the Mille Miglia and can provide its new owner with a drive in an exclusive car with known history.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
