2001 Bertone Filo Concept<\/h1>\n

The Filo concept uses ‘drive by wire’ technology engineered by SKF, enabling a radical re-evaluation of the man-machine interface and the car’s interior. Steering, acceleration, braking, gear changes and clutch are all controlled ‘by wire’. The driver has no direct control over the vehicle.<\/span><\/p>\n

The designers of the Filo were able to create a dashboard free of obstructions and restraints. No steering column or pedals make for a relaxing driving position — both the front and rear seats resemble sofa’s.<\/p>\n
