He said it over and over. He wanted to build\u00a0ultimate road car. Focused, no compromises, just the best car.<\/p>\n<p>Turns out it was fast as hell\u00a0in a straight line too. \u00a0241mph fast in face.<\/p>\n<p>We thought this would be a good time to put up the record breaking 240.1 mph run by McLaren F1 prototype XP5 from way back in 1998.
