These included new sway bars and an aluminum clutch.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Like all Corvettes of the period it was powered by Chevrolet&#8217;s small block V8 engine with 230 to 315 horsepower depending on the options. These were matched to either a 4-speed manual or 2-speed Powerglide automatic.<\/p>\n<p>The 1960 was the last model year to use an extensive amount of chrome and the last to use the toothed grill.
