It included the Judd V10 engine, new bodywork and a new suspension.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The new 2008 model featured new steering, cooling system, suspension with new uprights retaining the mounting points to avoid crash tests. Along with fitting a traction control system, this new suspension greatly improved cornering grip.<\/p>\n<p>Oreca fitted the LC70 with a Judd GV5.5 72\u00ba V10 in the place o the AER units Courage used in the 2008 season.<\/p>\n<p>At the car&#8217;s official debut at at the 2008 Barcelona 1000kms, one of the LC70s featured all-new bodywork. The new package was a second faster around the circuit but was still off pace with front-running diesel cars.
