Now Honda has taken it to the next level, giving the S2000 more exhilarating performance than ever before. A new 2.2-liter engine supplies smooth acceleration, while gear ratio refinements and a DBW (Drive By Wire) system for optimal computerized throttle control deliver torquey driving performance. Newly designed seats, 17-inch aluminum wheels, and an advanced security system make a subtle yet crucial difference. The S2000 provides a driving experience that creates a unique sense of connection among the car, the driver, and the road. The S2000 is Honda&#8217;s idea of the ideal sport convertible.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Displacement has been increased from two liters to 2.2-liters to deliver even more dynamic driving performance. Meanwhile, low-ratio gearing boosts power transmission to the wheels and takes advantage of the increased engine displacement for more torquey performance in the low to mid rpm ranges. DBW (Drive By Wire) has been added to permit optimum computerized throttle control in accordance with driving conditions.
