1979 Dome P2<\/h1>\n

Building on the Zero concept car, Dome released a production version in 1979. It used the same basic principles such a fibreglass body and Nissan L28 engine, but had over 150 modifications to the design. It followed Dome’s extensive motor sports history.<\/span><\/p>\n

When Dome couldn’t get approval by the Japanese government, they attempted to market the car to America by visiting both tthe Chicago Auto and Los Angeles Auto Shows.<\/p>\n

Unique features of the car included an LED instrument panel, finger-tip control switchgear, 2-piece wheels and extremely low ride height.<\/p>\n
