The raced from 2003 until 2009 when SuperGT banned mid-engine cars.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Unlike the production car, the 2003 NSX used a Honda C30A engine mounted longitudinally in the chassis. This was turbocharged to produce the regulation 500 bhp.<\/p>\n<p>The car was used by multiple private teams including Autobacs Racing Team Aguri, Dome Racing, Nakajima Racing, Real Racinga and Team Kunimitsu.<\/p>\n<p>The NSX&#8217;s final event was at the Twin Ring Motegi on November 7-8, 2009.
