\"1953<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n

1954 Packard Caribbean Convertible 5478-2145<\/a>.\u00a0<\/b>The car offered here is fresh from the long-term collection of the late Eugene Beardslee. It was the subject of a frame-off restoration by the late Packard expert Robert Turnquist\u2019s Hibernia Restorations to \u201clike-new\u201d condition, some documentation of which, including itemized bills and a step-by-step description of the work, will be included in the sale. Finished in Gulf Green and Sahara Sand, the Caribbean is equipped with both available options, power windows and seats, and it is further reported by the owner that not only does it run and drive well, but all equipment is properly functioning \u201cas it should.\u201d The car has been driven fewer than 50 miles since restoration; thus, it presents a beautiful chance for a new owner to enjoy a Hibernia-restored Caribbean that is still much as it was when it left the shop.\u00a0Auction Source: <\/b>2013 Amelia Island by Rm Auctions<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

1953 Packard Caribbean Convertible<\/a> – sold for $93,500.\u00a0<\/b>This Polaris Blue Caribbean Convertible was formerly owned by noted Georgia collector Mr. Milton Robson, who acquired the car in restored condition with 44,000 miles on the odometer. Even with his extensive collection of valuable cars, he considered this one the best driving example. The Packard has since been acquired by another esteemed collection, where additional improvements were made. The car now has new Daytona weave rugs as well as correct whitewall Firestone tires. Other services include work to the fuel tank along with re-plating of the chrome. The interior is in excellent condition, particularly the seats, as the upholstery has been very well fitted and the seat patterns are straight. All of the interior chrome is superior, the dash assembly was professionally assembled, the carpeting is excellent, and workmanship is professional throughout. The underbody was completely undercoated, and the engine bay was fully restored as well.
