Ranging from $5,900 to $7,250 the designs included a Stationery Coupe, Convertible Coupe, Sport Phaeton, Convertible Sedan and Convertible Victoria.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>At the time Dietrich was a division of the Packard company so in many ways these were highly decorated factory designs.<\/p>\n<p>Packard also used a higher-compression cylinder head which raised power from 110 bhp to 135 bhp. When purchased by Gene Rouse in the mid-1970s, it had been much modified; the body was sectioned about two inches, with other metal reconfigured to suit, and a number of inappropriate parts were installed. Subsequent owner Jackson Brooks dismantled the car while considering the best way to proceed with a restoration.
