It was built to be an absolute drag strip monster, and it definitely delivered on that promise. Here&#8217;s the lowdown:<\/p>\n<ul data-sourcepos=\"3:1-6:0\">\n<li data-sourcepos=\"3:1-3:168\"><strong>Massive Engine:<\/strong> As the name suggests, it packed a gigantic 10.0-liter V8 engine, based on the 429 Boss block. This beast churned out an estimated 850 horsepower!<\/li>\n<li data-sourcepos=\"4:1-4:196\"><strong>Drag-Focused Design:<\/strong> The Boss 10.0L was stripped down to the essentials, with a bare-bones interior and a focus on maximizing straight-line speed. Think of it as a factory-built drag racer.<\/li>\n<li data-sourcepos=\"5:1-6:0\"><strong>Blistering Performance:<\/strong> This thing was seriously quick. It was rumored to hit 60 mph in a mind-blowing 1.9 seconds and could demolish the quarter-mile in 10.55 seconds at 135 mph.
