The cylinder dimensions were equivalent to those of a six-cylinder test engine designed by Paul Daimler in 1906. This was the first DMG car to be fitted with friction shock absorbers. Three cars entered the 1907 French GP, but were unsuccessful in that event. Only one of the cars, driven by Victor Hemery, was placed 10th.<\/span><\/p>\n
