The new 2003 DP2 will run with 5.0 BMW V8s.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In total three Picchio-designed cars will run in the Grand Am Series. Two cars will be raced by G&amp;W Motorsports with Momentum Motorcars, the largest BMW and Jaguar dealer in the U.S, racing the third car.<\/p>\n<p>Picchio plan to sell future DP2s to any willing customers at $375 00 USD. The chassis will support three different engine packages including BMW, Maserati and Porsche units. Each car comes with a three year support program.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><i>Daytona Prototypes<\/i><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>For the 2003 season, the Grand American Road Racing Association has a new class for prototype racecars. Consisting of current Sports Racing Prototypes (SRPII) and new Daytona Prototypes, this class will represent the fastest cars in the 2003 season.<\/p>\n<p>At the center of the Daytona Prototypes will be a normally aspired six or eight cylinder engine. The framework around the engine is limited to a steel or aluminum in a tubular frame or semi-monocoque setup. The engine must be unstressed. A minimum weight restriction is set from 1975 pounds to 2050 pounds based on engine displacement.<\/p>\n<div class=\"copy-paste-block\">\n<figure class='gallery-item'>\r\n            <div
