Abandoned was the 6-cylinder of year&#8217;s previous, and instead an entirely new 8-cylinder was fitted.<\/p>\n<p>Along with the new engine, a range of lower and longer bodies were offered. 12 different bodies were offered on the 133-wheelbase Model 133 (sometimes called Model 125) and 7 were different bodies offered on the longer 143-wheelbase Model 143.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike the earlier detachable-head design, the new 8-cylinder was an integral unit, having 9-main bearings and an L-Head valvetrain arrangement. It was also 100 lbs lighter than the outgoing 6-cylinder and offered almost 25% more horsepower.<\/p>\n<figure class='gallery-item'>\r\n            <div class='gallery-icon landscape'>\r\n Today, it continues to benefit from the long-term care of its prior owner, a machinist who rebuilt all mechanical, electrical and chassis components between 1989 and 2006. It features a recent exterior refinish, complemented by many desirable features including dual side mounted spare tires with original Pierce-Arrow mirrors, wire wheels with new snap rings, a luggage rack and a body-colored trunk.
