In 1969 the joint Dino project by Ferrari and Fiat was completely revised including a new cast iron, 2.4-litre engine that powered the Fiat Dino 2400 Spider.<\/span><\/p>\n

Production of the 2400 was moved over to Ferrari for the 2.4-liter cars where the “Fiats” were produced directly alongside the Dino 246 by Ferrari staff.<\/p>\n

Only 424 of the Ferrari built Fiat Dino Spiders were produced.<\/p>\n

1971 FIAT Dino 2.4 Spyder 1258<\/a> – sold for \u20ac138,000.\u00a0<\/b>One of the 424 examples produced, delivered new in France. Delivered new in dark blue and first registered on 18th June 1971 in France, this FIAT Dino Spyder was previously owned by the well-known French politician Dr. Andr\u00e9 Lacroix, who at different times occupied the posts of Conseiller Municipal de Thionville, Conseiller General de Moselle and Conseiller Regional de Lorraine. Purchased by Lacroix on 18th April 1980, the car was fully rebuilt (engine and bodywork) by Garage Francorchamps, Brussels between 1985 and 1990 (see invoices totalling circa BEF 400,000 and full photographic record on file).
