1952 Mercedes-Benz 220 Cabriolet A 2279952<\/a> – sold for \u20ac103,500\u00a0<\/strong>Offered from long term ownership, this Mercedes-Benz 220 Cabriolet A was completely restored in 1985-1986 by Atelier de Restauration de Touraine. Works carried out include dismantling to the chassis; restoration of the timber body frame; an engine overhaul; chassis restoration; new paintwork; fully re-trimming the interior; and refurbishing the entire electrical system, instrument panel and radio. Only a few months ago the brakes and clutch were overhauled and the car is described by the now elderly owner as in generally excellent condition, having been well maintained for the last 30-or-so years. Nicely presented in green with beige soft-top, this most stylish Mercedes-Benz cabriolet is offered with French Carte Grise and the quotation, invoice and photographs relating to its restoration.<\/p>\n

Recent professional detailing and mechanical sorting. Includes custom-fitted luggage. The dashboard carries an elaborate four-band pushbutton radio, and included with the car are extensive invoices from the restoration work performed by Howe, Diamond, and Legendary Motor Cars. As the car has seen limited use since restoration, the recent detailing is in excellent condition throughout.
