2008\u21922008 Mugen Civic Type-RR<\/h1>\n

\n

Mugen has anounced a limited edition Civic for the Japanese Domestic Market which has a dramatic body kit among other performance upgrades.<\/span><\/p>\n

The new kit starts with a triangulated front bumper, a carbon fibre grill, hood air extractors and continues down the side with simple lined sills. At the rear is massive wing and a front splitter which has an integrated LED brake light that’s usually seen on the back on F1 cars.<\/p>\n

As one would guess, the new Civic picks up more horsepower, drops weight, gets a lower ride height and a new interior. Specifically it produces 240 bhp, loses 66 lbs (30 lgs) of weight and sits 15 mm lower.<\/p>\n

Whether or not the performance upgrades match the aggressive body style are up to the future owners to decide. Only 300 will be produced for 4.777.500 JPY or $38 750 USD.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
