2012 Lola B12\/80<\/h1>\n

Two more Lola LMP2 Coupes have been announced by a new Lola customer today. The German-based Kodewa team has entered Lola LMP2 coupes, designed and built in Huntingdon UK, in the new FIA World Endurance Championship.<\/span><\/p>\n

Recognising the innovative design technology and title winning pace of the Lola LMP range, Kodewa have partnered with Lotus Group who will supply the engines. The Lola B12\/80 LMP2 Coupes are set to run in the black and gold livery, first made famous in the 1970’s. It will be the second famous colour scheme to be represented by Lola in 2012, as the classic blue and orange of Gulf Oils will adorn the Gulf Racing Lola LMP2 cars this season.<\/p>\n

Lotus announce drivers for Lola LMP2<\/h4>\n

Thomas Holzer, Mirco Schultis and Luca Moro have been announced as drivers for the Lotus LMP2 team that will compete in this years FIA World Endurance Championship with a Lola B12\/80.<\/p>\n

The team will be run by German Kodewa Sports team and will make its race debut at the Sebring 12 Hours in three weeks time. The Lola designed and built B12\/80 has been completed at Lola’s Huntingdon base and the Lotus badged Judd V8 engine fired up for the first time today.<\/p>\n

German racer Thomas Holzer has raced in the German and Euro F3 series in 2005-6 before taking a break from racing before returning to the ADAC GT series in 2011. His countryman Mirco Schultis has most recently competed in the Le Mans Series LMPC category and brings a wealth of experience from European GT racing. Italian, Luca Moro has made a name for himself in the LMPC category of ALMS and LMS in recent seasons, taking one victory in last seasons Formula Le Mans category.<\/p>\n

Lola engineers will be assisting the Lotus LMP2 team with the cars first running ahead of the Sebring 12 Hours at the Florida venue.<\/p>\n
