This was attached for a four-speed manual that had synchromesh on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th.<\/p>\n<p>MG produced just over 2400 examples of VA. The range of factory bodies included a a four-door saloon produced by Morris but other styles by Tickford and Salmons &amp; Sons were much more expensive and elaborate.<\/p>\n<figure Having covered very little mileage since restoration, it remains fresh in all respects and has been given a recent service. The VA offers the panache of an open tourer with the comfort of a closed car and the ability to change from one to the other with ease.
