This was the very first completed S7 and was made by Ray Mallock Ltd, who did most of the engineering and design for the car in the UK. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>At the time there were very little American supercars on the market and Steve Saleen changed this trend. Later versions of the car would be twin-turbocharged in 2004 and they would also participate in sports car racing in ACO, FIA and ALMS events.<\/p>\n<p>The first silver S7, chassis 001 was retained by the factory and sold at the 2002 Barrett-Jackson auto auction. It was sold on a bill of sale only for $432,000 USD.
