2001 Drivers: Jean Alesi & Gaston Mazzacane.<\/h4>\n

For the 2001 season, the Prost team changed from Peugeot to a Ferrari powerplant. With a winning engine, Prost attempted to out perform their previous seasons which yielded little success. In the 2000 season, the Prost cars finshed 11 times out of 33 starts.<\/p>\n

The Prost team first appeared in F1 during the 1997 season. That year, Alain Prost, a successfull GP driver, bought Ligier and renaming them Prost Racing. Over the last few years, Prost has had little success securing any F1 victories.<\/p>\n
