2005 Stola S86 Diamante Concept<\/h1>\n

Since 1919, Stola has been developing a whole range of skills enabling the company to assist and satisfy its customers in vehicle manufacturing from concept to production. For the 75th Geneva Motor Show, Stola launched a new show model, the S86 Diamante, designed by the stylist Marcello Gandini.<\/span><\/p>\n

This model aims at being an example of Stola’s rapid, tailor-made engineering. In this case Stola carried out a plan from stylistic feasibilities to the small-series production in a very short period of time. Exactly as it is shown, the S86 was completed in the five-week period leading up to the Geneva Motor Show. Marcello Gandini, liked the idea of undertaking such a venture.<\/p>\n

Gandini has been responsible for some of the industries most important designs, specifically for Lamborghini, including the Espada, the Jarama, the Urraco, the Miura and Countach. Unlike his Lamborghini work, this new Stola seems lacking, possibly due to the rush in which car was conceived. In any case, the manufacturing, especially with regard to the interior, look to be very high grade for a five week project.<\/p>\n
