In addition to use as his personal automobile, Shelby drove the Cobra in a running of the &#8220;Turismos Visitadores&#8221; in Nevada. In February 1968, Road &amp; Track referred to CSX3015 as &#8221;The Cobra to End All Cobras.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>As history shows, CSX 3015 is one of two Super Snake Cobras built. The other being CSX 3303 built for Bill Cosby. Sadly, it&#8217;s next owner estroyed himself and CSX 3303 by driving off of a cliff and into the Pacific Ocean. CSX 3015 is a full Competition Roadster, still retaining its original body with its 1967 aluminum &#8216;Super Snake&#8217; hood.<\/p>\n<p>Carroll Shelby&#8217;s personal 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 Supersnake (Lot #1301), which was designed and built solely for the racing legend, was sold with No Reserve during the 36th Annual Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Event from Jan. 13-21, 2007, in Scottsdale, Ariz.
