The Aston Martin Owner&#8217;s Club (AMOC) later determined this was sufficient to consider the larger-sump cars to be considered Series II<\/span><\/p>\n<p>While Aston enlarged the sump, they also fitted larger front disc brakes and changed the hood to hinge from the front.<\/p>\n<p>DB4 Series II production lasted from January 1960 to April 1961.
