Only two cars were made with thie 3.7-litre engine and both ended up racing primarily on the short tracks of America.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, the 3.7-litre engine didn&#8217;t comply with the 3-litre restriction so the DBR2 competed in non-championship races, winning the 1958 Goodwoood Sussex Trophy and 1958 Oulton Park British Empire Trophy. Eventually both cars were shipped to America and had their engines enlarged to 3.9-liters and even 4.2-litre<\/p>\n<figure class='gallery-item'>\r\n            <div class='gallery-icon landscape'>\r\n
