Even during the 1981 season, the first in which Audi participated, the quattro began to hint at its later superiority. 1983 AUDI QUATTRO <\/a> – <\/b><\/p>\n

The car on offer left the factory on 31 March 1983. According to its owner, it was used by the Audi team to carry out reconnaissance on rallies. The official team, appropriately structured, used back-up cars, which were equipped with ” semi-racing ” equipment. The car was then bought by a French driver who took part in several rallies on his own home ground. It was later sold again to a Belgian and in 2010 the car was prepared to compete in the Tour de Corse Historique. It appeared in white and yellow livery, with official team decoration, as well as the extras required for a rally car : extra lights and rally tyres. The engine was rebuilt in 2012 by Francis Dosi\u00e8res and easily produces 250 bhp. Here is a car that is a part of the history of rallying, ready to take to the asphalt !
