He would watch and help his father work at the family business, Pennell\u2019s Motor Repairs Ltd., during his formative years. Upon leaving school, his natural progression was to work alongside his father. Paul specialized in repair work and panel beating\u2014the latter then becoming a very specialist trade in the UK.
