It faced disappointment in 1997, when the best result was 12th overall (Hoshino, Comas, Kageyama).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In 1998, in its second attempt at Le Mans, the R390 GT1 was represented by a total of 4 entries: No.30 (Clarion), No. 31 (UNISIA JECS), No. 32 (Calsonic), and No.33 (JOMO). Its proved to be a difficult race, with only 23 cars completing the course, but all the Nissans made the top-ten ranking, with car No.32 (Hoshino, A.
