Novitec Aventador SV<\/h1>\n

If you\u00a0purchased Lamborghini\u00a0Aventador SV<\/a>\u00a0and have been underwhelmed by the\u00a0power, noise and looks – said nobody ever<\/em> – don’t worry because Novitec has come to the rescue with their\u00a0Novitec Aventador SV.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0supercar\u00a0tuning outfit decided the Aventador SV was\u00a0just too soft.\u00a0With its 740bhp V12 engine and conservative looks it doesn’t stand out enough for those spending hundreds of thousands of dollars. So the Novitec team went to work adding a\u00a0wild carbon fibre bodykit and pumping up\u00a0the 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 to\u00a0775bhp. That should do it.<\/p>\n

Performance gains come largely from a new Novitec exhaust system (made of\u00a0Inconel) and electronic wizardry with Lamborghini’s existing engine management system. The result is\u00a0a 35bhp increase from standard to 775bhp and torque up from from 509 to 544lb\u00a0ft.\u00a00-60 should be over in a short\u00a02.8-second and top speed is expected to be over\u00a0220mph.<\/p>\n

That exhaust doesn\u2019t just free up power, mind. You\u2019ve a choice of stainless steel or F1-inspired Inconel for its construction, the latter saving 21kg on standard. It also comes with actively controlled butterfly valves. In short, these open to allow more noise, and Novitec even offers them with radio remote\u00a0control.<\/p>\n

There are more tweaks elsewhere. \u201cWheels are the legs of the car,\u201d claims Novitec, and it\u2019s made the SV\u2019s legs more toned with new forged, centre-locking wheels courtesy of Vossen. They\u2019ve been designed to mimic the Aventador\u2019s extravagant tail light design, and measure 20 inches at the front, 21 rear. Oh, and you can have them in 72 different\u00a0colours.<\/p>\n

Accompanying them is a new suspension system, which drops the already belly-scraping SV by 35mm, though the front-lift system is restored to give you a fighting chance of creeping it onto your\u00a0driveway.<\/p>\n

The aerodynamic components provide improved aerodynamics, while giving the vehicle a more aggressive appearance. We can’t validate Novitec’s claims that the car has been wind-tunnel test, but we can say for sure that the car will\u00a0definitely scare locals when a\u00a0Novitec Aventador SV drives by.<\/p>\n
