Just 24 of the \u00a31.8m Vulcans are being made \u2013 and even if you can afford to buy one, it\u2019s so hard to drive that Aston is offering owners one-on-one lessons from its stable of racing drivers.<\/p>\n<p>So when Matt Prior got the call up for the final drive of the car by anyone other than an owner or Aston employee, he jumped at the chance to strap into the bespoke carbonfibre cockpit at Silverstone.<\/p>\n<p>Powered by a 7.0-litre V12 engine producing 820bhp &#8211; the most powerful normally aspirated car in production &#8211; and built to racing car standards, the Vulcan certainly lived up to the hype. Matt\u2019s verdict? \u201cThe Aston Vulcan is as fast as a McLaren P1 but even more immersive.\u201d High praise indeed.
