The younger Shakespeare will need some training, though: these cars aren\u2019t for the faint of heart. Only 28 of these were brought into Australia in 1978, but many haven\u2019t survived.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA lot of people bought these cars\u2026and didn\u2019t come home,\u201d Shakespeare says, \u201c\u2026these cars ended up around poles, ended up around trees, ended up upside-down\u2026and, the technology isn\u2019t in the car to cope with the amount of horsepower, really.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s all worth, it, though, as long as this cherished family car lives into the future.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou look at the car and you don\u2019t think, \u2018Oh gee, it looks old\u2019\u2026\u201d he says. \u201cWhat you see is a piece of history that will never be repeated.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_295266\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-295266\"
