At the Goodwood SpeedWeek Sale, three significant single-owner motor car collections will be offered.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The collections from the UK and Europe will have a total of 24 carefully curated motor cars ranging from pre-war tourers to modern supercars with the collections have an estimated value of more than \u00a35 million.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The highlights of the collections include:<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>a 1931\u00a0Invicta\u00a0S-Type Low Chassis which is part of the Alps to Goodwood Collection<\/li>\r\n<li>a rare 1969 Ferrari 365 GTC Coup\u00e9 from the Chester Collection<\/li>\r\n<li>a 2005 Mercedes SLR McLaren Coup\u00e9 from the collection of a respected Gentleman Racer<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Alps to Goodwood Collection\u00a0<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The Alps to Goodwood Collection stems from one man\u2019s passion and belief that motor cars should be used as they were originally designed. The collection embodies the spirit of \u2018<em>driver first, collector second<\/em>.\u2019\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-297308\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.sportscardigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/20201002025315\/1931-Invicta-S-Type-Low-Chassis-9-1.jpg\" alt=\"back of 1931 Invicta 4 1\/2 -Litre S-Type Low Chassis Sports\" \/>\r\n<figcaption>1931\u00a0Invicta\u00a04 1\/2 -Litre\u00a0S-Type Low Chassis Sports<\/figcaption>\r\n<\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The collector\u2019s passion for classic touring stands out as each piece of the collection is carefully selected with a specific event or experience in mind.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>After twenty years, the result is a fleet of some of the greatest touring cars ever built. The vendor has used this historic collection to compete in more than 200\u00a0influential,\u00a0distinguished, and challenging historic events and long-distance rallies all over the world.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The main feature of the collection is the 1931\u00a0Invicta\u00a04 1\/2 -Litre\u00a0S-Type Low Chassis Sports, chassis S90 \u2018Simplon.\u2019 It would be the diamond of any pre-war collection as it is one of the\u00a0only\u00a068 survivors of a 75-car production\u00a0run, and\u00a0is\u00a0valued at \u00a31,000,000-1,200,000. The automobile being offered is a works car that campaigned in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/northernireland\/yourplaceandmine\/down\/A1066286.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ards\u00a0TT<\/a> and at\u00a0Brooklands. It is valued at \u00a3800,000-1,000,000.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-297314\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.sportscardigest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/20201002025932\/1954-Bentley-R-Type-Continental.jpg\" alt=\"1954 R-Type Continental\" width=\"\" height=\"\" \/>\r\n<figcaption>1954 R-Type Continental<\/figcaption>\r\n<\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The 1926 6.5\/8-Litre Tourer is valued at \u00a3600,000-800,000 which is a true adventure waiting to happen for its next guardian. It is one of the most-traveled Bentleys that the Bonhams team has ever seen with the Tourer competing in some of the most physically tiring and demanding motorsport events like the 13,000km <a href=\"https:\/\/sportscardigest.com\/peking-to-paris-2019-report-photos\/\">Peking-Paris rally<\/a>, the 8,500 km Carrera Sudamericana and the Mille\u00a0Miglia\u00a0USA.
