Masters European Tour 2021 Schedule to consist of nine rounds<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Masters Historic Racing has just announced its 2021 European calendar.\u00a0After coming from a very difficult 2020 season, Masters is bouncing back with a nine-round European Tour that will have them start at\u00a0Donington\u00a0Park and ending in\u00a0Portimao\u00a0in late October.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Masters 2021 Tour has added a seventh series that will show demonstration laps from powerful single-seaters of the last five decades.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The 2020 season saw many races canceled, so for 2021, Masters have carefully crafted a 2021 European calendar that will help them cope with the possibility of a continuing backlash from the crisis, while also lowering the risk of travel restrictions that is expected to continue at the early part of the year.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The 2021 season will start with the annual\u00a0Masters\u00a0Test Day scheduled on March 18, relocating it to\u00a0Donington\u00a0Park for 2021 so it can be held in a circuit that is best suited for Masters cars.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

On Good Friday and Easter Saturday, the\u00a0Masters\u00a0Historic Race Weekend will be held at\u00a0Donington\u00a0Park. The next round will be the\u00a0Masters\u00a0Historic Festival at Brands Hatch<\/a>, which will be held in late-May schedule on the GP circuit.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In\u00a0the\u00a0summer, the\u00a0Masters\u00a0Tour moves onto the continent to visit Paul Ricard in the middle of June for the French Historic Grand Prix.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The next event on the schedule is the Historic Grand Prix at\u00a0Zandvoort<\/a>. For their tenth anniversary, their traditional early September slot has been moved forward into July instead.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Two must-see events are scheduled\u00a0in\u00a0August with The Classic at Silverstone<\/a> and\u00a0Zolder\u2019s\u00a0Historic Grand Prix.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

October will see the final\u00a0rounds\u00a0of\u00a0Masters. On the first weekend of October, Masters\u00a0will again have a huge role in the Spa Six Hours, one of the\u00a0most important in European historic racing.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The 2021 season will end with a double-header of events that will be held at two excellent Iberian circuits.\u00a0\u00a0Three weeks after Spa is Barcelona where the\u00a0Masters\u00a0will be joining the Espiritu de\u00a0Montju\u00efc\u00a0event<\/a> at the Barcelona GP circuit. The weekend after that will see the rescheduled visit to the\u00a0Portimao\u00a0circuit in the Algarve and it is there that the\u00a0Masters\u00a02021 Tour will close.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
