Photo credit: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Euan-Cameron-Photographer-155666071156071\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Euan Cameron<\/a><\/figcaption>\r\n<\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 12px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Instead of dwelling on the time difference that cost him victory in the\u00a0new \u2018rolling-start-handicap\u2019 race to Shayne\u00a0Windelburn\u00a0in the Lola T400, Collins\u00a0looked to the future claiming that he would just have to work harder next time.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Speaking after he came out victorious\u00a0at\u00a0the\u00a031st annual\u00a0Skope\u00a0Classic historic motor racing meeting in the 8-lap\u00a0feature final\u00a0at Christchurch\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canterburycarclub.co.nz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mike Pero Motorsport Park<\/a>, Ruapuna, Collins stated:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-large is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\r\n<p>\u201cAll credit to him. I definitely was close at the\u00a0end,\u00a0but he got to the line first.\u00a0Could I have gone faster earlier on? \u202fDefinitely. And could I have got through the traffic in the middle of the race quicker? Probably.
